Yet another spectacular album added to the collection

I am a music tantric, and after I found myself soaring through record stores and columbia house time and time again, I began to lose sight of what I could buy next.
The album cover for siren caught my attention on more than one occasion(there seems to be a silent, serene beauty about the picture), and having heard only one song from Heather Nova off from a Lilith Fair cd I have, I asked myself what I could possibly have to lose by buying the one album of hers I kept seeing.
I remeber not being able to take it out of the cd player. Immediatley I was taken back in so many different ways. There was a sharpness in her voice and a curve in her words that made me anticipate the next song, and the song after that. Before I knew it, I was back on track one listening to the same thing all over again.
She, for what little I do know of her, is an exceptionally wonderful musician with her voice going a distance in which you the listener would only dare to go. Her words are deep in meaning, and the reason's are apparently clear.
I believe that if any song can touch one's heart and remind a person not only of a particular time, but remind the listener of theyself, than we as music lover's have truly been blessed.
This album is full of wonderful cuts, my personal favorite-"Paper Cup." I would reccomend this to anyone, whether they had a certain taste in music or not. This coming from someone with over 400 cd's ranging from Bessi Smith, to Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, Matchbox 20, K's Choice, Johnny Cash, Mama's and the Papa's, Fleetwood Mac, Nelly, Lil Kim, TLC, 2 Pac, Tori amos, Ani DiFranco, Korn, Cyndi Lauper, Sublime, Blind Melon, and many, many more. If I could fit it into my collection, you too should be able to.
