Siren is one of Heather Nova's most enchanting pieces. Songs such as Paper Cup and Valley of Sound will satisfy anyone's appetite for something heartfelt and sweet while songs such as I'm Alive, and Blood of Me remind us of the dark sides of love and obsession. Her lyrics are spellbinding but have a tendancy to be little too flowery. Nevertheless, I can't go a week without hearing at least one song.
