This album is fantastic and i am sure all you funky rap lovers would agree with me on this one. Its smooth beats combined with chilled rap and grindy metal beats really make this the best (hed)pe album. Alot more heavy than the second album 'Broke' it is a definate must have if you want to hear the real (hed)pe before they broke their style with a more tuneful poppy second album. I have seen (hed)pe live and they measure up to every inch of this funky 13 track CD. 'Circus' is one mad experimental track that you have got to love just because it is so crazy. On the other hand 'Serpent Boy' verges on the heavy side and gives you a rush of adrenaline when pumped up to the full. When you hear the beats your ass will be shaking and your heads will be bobbing, it's great stuff that you have just got to move to. I recommend this album, it is a definate 5star projection of the origional sounds of (hed)pe.
