Let the Bicycle Race begin!

This is a GLORIOUS example of Queen at a creative high point. The only song I do not enjoy on this album is track one, "Mustapha". But don't let it fool you. The rest of the album is sterling. My personal favorites include "Leaving Home Ain't Easy", "Jealousy", and "In Only Seven Days". LHAE has sweetly sad harmonies which convey the perfect touch of heartache. "Jealousy"... what can one say. Freddie's vocals on this one are flawless. And John Deacon reaches his usual songwriting pinnacle of greatness with the lovely IOSD. As for the rock-ier songs, "Let Me Entertain You" is a riptide. One can't help but air drum at 'we give you rock a la carte'. And "Dead On Time" is a limit-pushing growler. All in all, not *quite* my favorite Queen album, but close (in the top five, I believe). _Jazz_ has got something for everyone, so give in and let Queen entertain you...
