Pure Ear Candy
Review Score:

(10/10)
I have been listening to Helloween ever since Walls of Jerico. There were times throughout their carrer, that I was not sure I wanted to be a fan. Then "Rabbit" comes out of the hat. I bought this album when it came out in May, and at first I wasn't sure this is what I wanted. But as I listened to it a second time around, I began to understand what this album was all about. The drumming is phenominal throughout. I have never heard of Stefan Schwartmann, but let me tell you, Listen to "Liar" and you will know what I mean. Michael Weikath, whom I condsider to be to the creative force behind this band, Simply stated, does it again. Every song on this album is a one of a kind with no repititious guitar playing. Sascha, their new member, does have a style all his own. It is very easy to pick it out over the past 'ween' albums. Markus is still Markus (bass) This album has plenty of beat, mixed with the drumming, will keep you hopping through this album. I wish I could tell you my favorite song, but they are all my favorites, because there is a song for every mood. They covered the entire spectrum of what what "good" heavy metal music should sound like, and they have the diversity to back it up. Like I said, this album came out in May, and here we are in August, and everyday, I still have to get my "rabbit fix" You should get yours too. You will not be disappointed.
