If I didn't loathe Hilary Duff so much, I'd feel sorry for her. I really would. Apparently someone told this poor girl that she could sing and now she's onstage at concerts making a complete idiot of herself. She can't sing. Instead of sounding like a mature 17-year-old pop star, she sounds like an 8-year-old karaoking to bad Britney Spears tunes.
Another reason to pity Hilary is that she thinks she's singing hard-edged rock music. This is not rock by any stretch of the imagination. This is substandard bubblegum pop music. Take her song, "Haters," for example. Hilary obviously thinks she's taking a jab at her critics. Her intentions were most likely to bring them to some sort of epiphany after they listened to this song, but in all actuality, it probably just made them roll on the floor, laughing. Hilary, sweetie, you're 17. Ignore the so-called "haters" (who are probably nothing more than innocent people boldly speaking the truth) and concentrate more on acting your age.
