Hilary Duff mainstream debut album is a pure example of pop-teenage music in the right direction, SO YESTERDAY shows that this young lady got what it takes, the melancolic lyrics and beat should made this a classic in Duff's repertoir, the best song in the record. COME CLEAN the second single produced by John Shanks is an emotional track that has a fast driven beat with a more rock feelin' lyrics, brilliant and smooth performance by Hilary, WHERE DID I GO WRONG, the third best track of the whole album showcase a more deep Hilary and great production by the MATRIX, WHY NOT an extra track has that fun point of view that Hilary Duff is more that intatle to take advantage of. THE MATH, SWEET SIXTEEN and other zappy-pop track reveals that Hilary still a young girl that does not care for judgements about been cheesy. INNER STRENGHT and METAMORPHOSIS has that clever lyrics height and WORKIN IT OUT is the most rock appealin, the record that Hilary Duff gave us, is not the best done music in the world, but is a perfect work in progress that shows a step in the right direction, besides, who cares, she has sold more than 3 million records already, talk about marketing and fanbase. ***THREE STARS lol.
