A Fairly Decent Release from an 80's Group

Unfamiliar with the group prior to the album's hit single "Human," I bought this recording based solely on the contributions of songmeisters Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Boy, was I glad that I did! I found the entire album to be entertainingly well-produced and performed.

My favorite tracks are "Money," "Swang," "Are You Ever Coming Back?" "Party," and the final cut "Love is All That Matters," a formula Jam/Lewis tune that benefits from a strong rhythm section and melodic use of percussion.

Not one of the more memorable 80's releases, but not bad, either.
