This album is the true epitome of the genre. No other band has progressed and evovled as much as Hypocrisy. While WAY too many bands are still stuck in the satan this and jesus that phase, Hypocrisy shows yet again how absolute metal brilliance can be achieved with out lame and out dated satan and murder lyrics. The emotion and composition of this album is so powerful and technical that you have to take a pause after listening just to take it all in before playing it 1,000 more times. Peter also has a lot of his Pain type sound in this also which makes it even more great. Too sum it up, so awesome that if you do not buy it you should seek therapy.
