The disc is just boring. Nothing new. I picked it up because I liked the Demons and Wizards project. After listening to the interview I wanted to throw the disc away. The bonus disc is just garbage, the interview is poor, and jon schaffer doesnt have anything interesting to say. All he does is shout out expletives about how one shouldnt get his music for free and how angry he is about his self imposed difficult life. boo hoo.

As far as the album itself, the concept is silly, the songs are old and tired and don't show any kind of progression from what many other bands did much better in the eighties. Better buys come from Nightwish, Rhapsody, Luci Turilli, Helloween, Gamma Ray, and Hammerfall if you like power metal. Even To Die For and Tiamat sound better in the softer genre. It's a shame that there isnt any good metal coming out of the U.S.A. any more. One only has to listen to bands like In Flames, Samael, Kovenant, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, and Therion to see the progression of metal getting better from album to album with fresh Ideas, intelligent lyrics and diverse instrumentation.

Once again don't waste your money on this old pile o poop .. I'm already upset that a band as amazing as In Flames has to open for these guys... It should be the opposite!
