First time listener, not disappointed!

I've read about Iced Earth in magazines and have seen ads for some of their other releases before, but hadn't bothered checking out any of their music. Well, my curiosity finally got the best of me and I went out and bought "Horror Show".
I was not the least bit disappointed!! From start to finish, this album has it all: crunching guitars, excellent vocals, just all across the board, solid musicianship. Even though I was blown away by the album, I've been kicking myself for not checking these guys out sooner! "Horror Show" in my opinion, would be a great start for any potential first-time Iced Earth listeners. Since buying"Horror Show" I've made up for lost time and (w/the exception of the imports) have gotten the rest of their catalog. Iced Earth have made a new fan and I think I just might have a new favorite band.
