Stunning!

Absolutely stunning (surprise)! All the songs are once again extremely well put together. I swear i WILL never get sick of Stromblad's melodic guitars!! ALL his riffs on this album are original, fresh sounding, and absolutely GORGEOUS. If you play the guitar, as i do, you will love this album as well as any in flames record.

They did experiment with this one a bit, vocally. Some songs like Ordinary Story (which seems to be a big fan favorite, so check it out) feature a more laid back Anders Friden... this guy can seriously sing extremely well. Theres also an EXCELLENT instrumental called "Pallar Anders Visa" which is excellent, though short, which leaves you only wanting more. It showcases Gelotte and Stromblad's excellent acoustic abilities. No one writes songs like these guys, thats why they're a band. This is the way music is supposed to be. I honestly think some of In flames songwriting rivals that of Metallica. A lot of that is on this record.

There is a great amount of energy on this record that DOES NOT let up (except for the instrumental) until the very end. A great all around record.
