Maybe I'm the wrong person to be reviewing this album, but as an old school thrash & heavy rock fan, I have to give these boys a huge thumbs up for an excellent album. Let's not kid ourselves, besides 2 slower acoustic tracks, NOT cheesy by any means, there is no song on the album that is radio-friendly, thank god! That said, how can you deny the melodic vocals, pure screaming, growls, and straight-up thrash sounds? I have never heard a new band combine all of these elements this well, and not come off as tired or cliched. Also, the guitar work is great, with some very crunchy and fast riffs. A true metal fan will not deny that. If you're looking for nu-metal, undecipherable black metal, or british-invasion metal, then DO NOT BUY THIS CD, you will be disappointed! However, if you want to hear real thrash with smart lyrics, quality musicianship, and no whining, this is a refreshing choice in the current underground heavy rock scene. My favorites are Trigger, Reroute to Remain, Drifter, Metaphor, Dark Signs - but really there are no bad songs here. GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END!!
