I was introduced to IG 7 years ago and they continue to occupy the top place on my music shelf. This album is no exception. Become You is sure to please anyone who has followed the IG legacy from their humble beginnings. Become You blends the maturity of their later work with the familiar grass-roots sound of Nomads. Emily has a number of prominent heart-tugging and thought-provoking ballads on this album. Amy continues to vocalize her political message with her familiar 'edgy' style without resorting to the hard new-fangled electric sound that was prominent in SOTS and CONS. Back is the all-familiar harmonies that was IG's hallmark in the early 90's. Bitterroot is destined for concert greatness in much the same way Chickenman did. This is one of those "roll down your windows and sing boldly" diddy's :)

This album will elicit a sense of nostalgia in you the first time you play it. I thoroughly enjoyed Shaming and Come on Now, but like returning from a long vacation - it's good to come home again :) A must buy!
