I am a diehard IG fan and I was sorely disappointed by Shaming of the Sun. This album shows Amy and Emily at some of their best. Like many others I am disheartened that this album lacks the beauty and strengh of their harmonies and descants but beggars can't be choosers. I was afraid that Shaming of the Sun was the way of the future IG work. I'm glad to see that that is not the case. The album has tender moments as well as rockin' moments. Unlike some, I'm glad to see them expand their talents. I would like to see more harmonies, but this is certainly one of the best records I've heard this year. If your an IG fan, you won't be disappointed.
