I was disturbed by those reviews that stated that they were disappointed by the contrast of "Come on Now Social" to older Indigo classics. I was a little saddened by what was lost when they turned more electric around the time of Shaming, but believe that they remain just as strong as always. They have been my favorite band since I was eight, and will always remain so. Just as their acoustic lullabies drew to them when I was young, their ability to speak to my budding actavist now keeps me in their fold. It is indeed, their message, and call to social awareness that makes them one of the strongest bands I have ever come accross. Reading the list of organizations they support in the back cover of Social gave me chills, and I thank God "within and surrounding", as Emily would say, that I have grown up with these wonderful voices.
