Brave New World

Maiden reach their limit for the second time

First they did it with Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son from 1988.. and later with Brave New World from 2000.
I like all Maiden albums, even Virtual XI and No Prayer For The Dying.. all of them have something good, some more some less, but theres No I.M album I totally dislikes.
But even if they havent made anything real bad in my opinion I must say that this Brave New World was some sort of "comeback".
Compare the albums from the 80s with them from the 90s, theres big differences in the quality.. and when they finally made an album that I can compare with them from the 80s and even say its better than most of them, than its a real great "comeback".
Now they have released Dance Of Death too which is also very good, but not like Brave New World.
Personally I think that Blaze Bayley is an average singer, so much of it has to do with the fact that Bruce Dickinson was back..
But thats not really the whole truth, they did two albums in the beginning of the 90s which was not better than Blazes..
Personally I think X-Factor with Blaze from 1995 is their best on the 90s.
Brave New World is a very complete album.. not so many hits but very complete from beginning to end.
"Blood Brothers" is a beautiful song and the title track have a weak simple chorus but the verses and the rest of the song is real good.
What I really like with the album and at the same time dislike is the choruses... they are good, very good and so but theyre taking too much time on the album, repeat over and over again in some songs.. not through the whole songs, but still too much.
The guitars playing good and everything is fine here, Bruce is 42years old on this album but still a great singer. The drums from Nicko sounds great... its not much I can say that is negative, but as you probably understand now, this is the best album on the new millenium imo.
