Dance of Death Isn't That Dead After All!

At first I thought I made a great mistake in buying this album for some personal reasons. I was definetely wrong... Every song in this album packs a punch lyrically and musically! The album begins dancing its way to the opening rhythm of Wildest Dreams which is the band's first single. It is then followed by uplifting tunes of the remarkable Maiden masterpiece Rainmaker. The tempo continues to another classic Maiden epic entitled No More Lies. The title track is an 8 minute masterpiece characterized by orchestral sound blended with great heavy metal.
Paschendale is another masterpiece talking about a war. Although not as energized as Aces High, the song boasts of a great melody and history which in turn becomes a true Maiden classic. New Frontier is also a great song coupled with the might of Age of Innocence. Gates of Tomorrow is a heavy yet melodic piece Maiden has composed(check out that chorus!). Montsegur is practically the heaviest song Maiden has written since Sea of Madness. The drumming has never sounded this loud and Bruce is still the vocal god! The album closer, Journeyman, is a slow moving track using only acoustic guitars to set the mood.

In short, this is one promising Maiden album! Dance of Death is definetly a Must-Buy! UP THE IRONS!
