well maiden seems to enjoy putting out live albums. in the last decade there was 3 different live releases. but those live albums(real live one, real dead one, and donnington) were really lacklustre affairs. they sound like they are going throught the motions on those(and giving dickinson's interest at that point it would appear that is just the case). so what about this one. more perfunctory runthrus of the same ole same ole. not so in this case. they haven't sounded this good live since live after death. and while this album does not eclipse that one(what could?) it is still satisfying nonetheless. this was recorded at the massive rock inrio festival in brazil and the song selection is the set list from their brave new world tour. it is the new stuff that makes this worth getting. sign of the cross, the clansman, and dream of mirrors are highlights here. it has the usual live stuff on it as well(i know what your thinking,'not hallowed be thy name again live'".the 2 cds also have enhanced multimedia stuff on it as well, which is pretty cool. a must for any diehard maiden fan.
