Love this CD!
Review Score:

(8/10)
I am also a fan of Jamiroquai's and I have really, really enjoyed this CD. Purchased it before taking a three-hour trip (one-way) by car. Listened to it all the way there and all the way back (best way to tell if you really like a CD by the way is to play it for six hours straight). Liked it a lot after the first go-round, but loved it after the second go-round. Won't go into titles of songs or point fingers at what's missing and what's not the same, as I accept change and am open to expression through evolution, which is what I feel Jay Kay was trying to share. Are you the same person you were 3-5-7 years ago? And may he who has never used a cliche' cast the first stone? I'm sure your tune is changing over the years too. It has to - it's called evolution.
The only reason I didn't give this CD 5 stars (and with no offense intended) is because I was introduced to Jamiroquai with Travelling Without Moving, so I have a major soft spot for Stu and I feel that his bass-playing expressed his soul, of which I feel many others are missing as well. Don't get me wrong, I love these songs and the new basslines, but it just doesn't have that Stu feel. Still, I recommend this album highly, as it's very good and diverse.
I know what goes on between bands and band members, but I do know that people grow apart, riffs occur and things just happen. But I truly hope that one day whatever happened to cause this riff is resolved and that Jay and Stu can reunite maturely and continue to "touch" people as they have. Aside from that, I will continue to support Jay Kay, as he is a very talented singer/songwriter, and I am eagerly awaiting something from Stu to support him as well. I miss him. Work it out, guys (if you can). Life is too short and you guys are too talented for this.
