I guess JK and the boys were too busy to work to hard at either writing or performing this time. I am a huge Jamiroquai fan, and their first 3 domestic releases are great music. However, on this album, these talented musicians let sequencers and drum machines do the talking for them, and songwriting has evaporated almost completely. JK can't even sing in TUNE any more, much less deliver the kind of greatness he used to in songs like "Just Another Story" or "I just can't stop." I am sorely dissapointed, because I used to love these guys. Some day, I hope they remember they can really play, and Jay will start pouring his heart out in his music again. Listening to this CD, I felt like I just found out a friend I hadn't talked to in a couple years had died. Jay Kay: what happened? Have you given up completely? If anyone wants to hear what this group is REALLY capable of, pick up "Space Cowboy" or "Emergency" or even "Travelling." I wouldn't even reccommend this disc to hard-core fans like me.
