Set sail for the land of....FUNK

This is the album where J Kay and company start to move in a more hard-edged funk direction. They are now taking cues from Sly Stone, Parliament-Funkadelic, Ohio Players, Earth Wind & Fire, The Gap Band, George Clinton, Jimmy Castor, Bootsy Collins etc... even more than before. There's still plenty of House beats and Disco rhythms to keep your fingers poppin'. And there's plenty Chic-type grooves and lush orchestration to keep the disco ball spinnin'. A great record and another winner from these soul funkateers.
