Acid jazzy, pop songy, funky, discoey.

Its mainstreamism renders the music almost uninteresting at times. The tracks just don't have the same oomph. (I think it's because one of the band members left.) Sure, the "Deeper Underground" feel is great, and "Supersonic" kicks. But it isn't as good as the preceding albums. Unless it's your cup of fish.
