Clarity-Clearly a Masterpiece

I've owned this CD for a couple years now, but it wasn't until last night when I saw Jimmy perform half these songs live that I realized how incredibly gorgeous this album is. For those of you who only know Jimmy through Bleed American/Jimmy Eat World, Clarity combines all the hard driven guitars of "Bleed American" with the emo rock of "My Sundown," only on a remarkably more emotionally deep level. "Blister" rocks as hard as anything on Bleed American, but songs like "For Me This Is Heaven" and "A Sunday" cause the CD to be one of the most heart wrenching and beautiful albums of all time. The sincerity and care that this band puts into the music is something that anyone who sees them live recognizes, and this CD shows where that sincerity comes from. Anyone who listens to this CD and is not moved by it obviously has no idea about music whatsoever. Clarity is amazing from start to finish. But it.
