There is one word to describe this album: "beautiful." I can't figure out why several people gave this album such a low rating. First of all, Goodbye Sky Harbor doesn't count in the whole of the album. It's the last freakin song. If it's too long for you, push "forward" and you go back to number one. That simple. And how can they say the lyrics are bad? Just Watch the Fireworks and For Me This is Heaven have some of the best lyrics ever written. "Can you still feel the butterflies?" ... There are some cautions you must consider before buying this album. Many people hate really good albums because they expected one thing and got the opposite. THIS IS NOT A HARD ROCKING CD. If you want that from Jimmy go buy Static Prevails. Many people may have heard Jimmy Eat World on the radio. THIS IS NOT THE RADIO-FRIENDLY POP FOUND ON "BLEED AMERICAN" (or S/T, whatever it is now.) The majority of this album is slow-paced, beautifully harmonized, orchestrated compositions. There are a couple of songs that rock it out, and do so quite well, but they are not the main tone of the album. Jimmy was one of my honorable mentions when I first heard "Static Prevails", but this album shot them straight into the number 1 spot.
