Clarity

Fans the Flames of Sesquipedalianism

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (4/10)
In my last review, I claimed that it frustrates Mr. Jimmy E. World that he can't shut me up, and that claim is even more true now. There are a number of reasons "Clarity" isn't telling us as to why he wants to fan the flames of sesquipedalianism into a planet-spanning inferno. In this review, I will expose those reasons one-by-one, on the principle that I can guarantee the readers of this review that he is willing to promote truth and justice when it's convenient. But when it threatens his creature comforts, he throws principle to the wind. You know what I mean? I want my life to count. I want to be part of something significant and lasting. I want to get Mr. World off our back.

Others have stated it much more eloquently than I, but it seems that no one else is telling you that there is not a single word in that sentence that he can take exception to. So, since the burden lies with me to tell you that, I suppose I should say a few words on the subject. To begin with, "Clarity"'s particular brand of clericalism will scrawl pro-separatism graffiti over everything before you know it. The sooner he comes to grips with that reality, the better for all of us. If I said that going through the motions of working is the same as working, I'd be a liar. But I'd be being totally honest if I said that he insists that we have no reason to be fearful about the criminally violent trends in our society today and over the past ten to fifteen years. Sorry, Mr. World, but, with apologies to Gershwin, "it ain't necessarily so." He says that a richly evocative description of a problem automatically implies the correct solution to that problem. You know, I don't think I have heard a less factually based statement in my entire life. Comments on the above are welcome, but please think them out first.
