this record is unreal. with bleed american, jimmy eat world has reached a compromise within it's own sound. this new work has brought together the originality and mixing that made clarity such an amazing album and combined it with the rock of static prevails. the band has now progressed past the label of an emo band. songs on bleed american thrust the band toward the label of a rock band. this album is rock and roll, pure and simple. songs like bleed american and get it faster are hard rock songs. others like the middle, sweetness, and authority song are more in a pop rock nature. bleed american is an amazing album from an amzing band. its for any fan of rock.
