Kate Bush RULESSSS!!!!
Review Score:

(10/10)
I am a 14 year old girl and i LOVE Kate Bush, she is the most brilliant beyond words!!! This is a fantastic album, and it is considered her best along with The Dreaming. It starts off with a well known Kate song Running up that hill (a deal with god) which is undoubtedly one of her TOP songs, and a smashing beginning to a cracking album! Second song is Hounds of love which is sweet, sad, joyful, haunting, calming and exciting all at the same time??!! How someone manages to put all those into one song i dont know, but Kate somehow manages it! And it is my 2nd fave song on the album. Then there is the Big sky, i can just imagine dancing in a field, jumping around like a pixie to this song, it is uplifting and fresh!! Mother stands for comfort is a chilling song, which gets better after you have heard it a few times, (it takes a while to get used to get used to the complicated rythym) it is beautiful and i love the ending. Cloudbusting is absolutely stunning and original, i love it, i love it, i love it!! The lyrics are something which will make you keep thinking for a long time, until you finally figure out exactly what the song is about! Then we come into the Ninth Wave, starting with Dream of sheep, this is a beautiful piano ballad which starts the Ninth Wave off perfectly and prepares you for Under ice, which i have to admit i sometimes cant listen to, it can be a very dramatic and scary song if listened to under the right circumstances! Although it is simple , it makes a big impact. Then there is Waking the witch, which starts off slow so you cant help wonder what is going to happen next, well what happens next i cant really describe as anything other than wonderfully chaotic!! Watching you without me is a calming song with extremely thought provoking lyrics, and gives absolutely no warning of the next song. Jig of life!! Wow, this is a song which will give you a shock, it is (unless you hadnt already guessed) an irish music based song, which is unbeleivably catchy and exciting! I cannot beleive that is possible to make such beautiful music, so boy did i get a surprise when i heard Hello earth! It is simply the most hauntingly beautiful song i have ever heard and it is my all time favourite! You just have to hear it for yourself!! Morning fog is simply the most perfect ending for an album, it has always reminded me of the morning sunshine on an Autumn's day, and gives you such a wondeful, heavanly feeling that after listening to Hounds of love i feel like i could be a new person!! All i can say is, buy this album and you will never, ever regret it!
