This has always been my favourite Kate Bush CD, which is something you'll hardly ever hear people say about The Dreaming. This CD shows the world something its never seen since: Music in a popular format that is true abstract art. Kate has successfully combined experimentle poetry and avant garde sound to create an entire dreamscape. (...) However, this album is only for real musical fiends, people who appreciate the avant garde. If you just want something to listen to in your car, you don't want The Dreaming. The Kick Inside is a lot more digestible, you could say, for passive listening.
