An album full of anger and passion.

This album is remarkable - it is full of anger and passion. It can also be a frightening experience to listen to. Drums feature heavily on this album and so does Kate's many amazing voices. Her voice is remarkable and exudes such confidence and range. She screams, whispers, sings backwards and then can sing like a Diva. This is Kate Bush's first solo production and it still sounds remarkable. There are some songs that can break your heart "All The Love" and "Houdini", which contains the line "with a kiss I'd pass a key". Brillant! There is also the distrubing "Get Out Of My House" where Kate screams in rage and fear. The song has a memorable ending (you have to buy it to know what I mean). Kate also gets involved with Irish music "Night of The Swallow" and her opus "The Dreaming", a song about the plight of Aborigines. Fantastic! Other themes include rape, being involved in a bank robbery, and the elusive journey of finding truth and understanding. This is another Kate album that has been overshadowed by the grandeur of "Hounds Of Love". This album was not a commercial album. Kate took control over her career and music during this time, and she has never looked back!
