One of the best mainstream product of 2003

Ok, forget about how she got her record deal, put American Idol aside and listen to the album. I didn't care for the show when it originaly aired summer 2002.. I picked a copy of "Thankful" last April and since then it hasn't leave my stereo. Kelly Clarkson proved that you don't need to look like a model or take off your clothes to sell records in 2003/2004, let your voice and your personality do the job.

My favorite track is "Low", it's kind of a soft rock number.. nice lyrics and great chorus. "Miss Independent" was the first single, not my favorite but still enjoyable.. "Just Missed The Train" and "Beautiful Disaster" got my attention when I first listened to the cd, I played them non-stop last summer and still do sometimes when I miss the sun. "Anytime" is a great ballad, nice cover.

Can't wait for album #2.
