Some really nice moments here

Lenny has likened this album to an artistic rebirth a baptism if you will. Yet with that in mind this is the most formulaic album that he has ever produced. There isn't any production device or chord progression that we haven't heard before earlier in his career. There are some very nice tracks here including the title track, and california. This album has a "punching the clock" workman feel about it. Lenny is a very gifted artist who needs stronger and more substantial musical collaboration to maximize his substantial gifts.
