Very danceable, energetic hip-hop album!

Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz made a very energetic album in this one! The first 7 songs obvious have the signature sound that has given him numerous hits this year for Usher, Ciara and some other artists. They are still similar to those songs; he doesn't stray away from that sound. He has some very funky grooves; they're so catchy! But the album shifts a little bit from that, as Lil' Jon adds some rock (even the Beastie Boys-sounding song produced by Rick Rubin with its sleazy, sexy basslines), one mid-tempo ballad and go-go sounds to his mostly crunk sound. It helps make the album more diverse and gets it out of that rut. He has loads of guests appearances here like Ice Cube, R. Kelly, Ludacris, Usher, E-40, Nas, Jadakiss and many others. Lil' Jon and his crew have a tendency to be very repetitive in the lyrics, repeating some of the same lines over and over to make their point. The call and response pattern does get tiresome after 12 songs and you expect something else, but that's his style. I liked that ballistic final cut, Grand Finale, as the five rappers let it loose in some of their fiercest lyrics in their music careers. This album's raunchy, wild, bizarre, explicit and no-nonsense, yet addictive, entertaining, danceable and fun at the same time. Lil' Jon's still got mileage out of that crunk sound blasting out of many car stereos nationwide!!!!!
