A lot of folks are hating on this album, but notice that it's almost always people who don't listen to Lil Jon or his style of rap? Everyone has heard "Get Low" and you're hearing "What You Gon' Do," but you still buy the cd expecting something else? You get exactly what you heard, so why hate? I think the popularity from Get Low and Dave Chappelle is coming to haunt Jon, but look where it's coming from: racist whites, New Yorkers, and people who don't listen to rap. This is a southern rap cd, and that's what you get. For those who don't know, Lil Jon is not a "lyricist" in the sense of complicated rhyme schemes and flow. His albums are exactly what you hear on his singles, so don't expect something different. Personally, I haven't liked this album as much as "Kings of Crunk," but that might be due to the fact that Lil Jon was new to me when I copped that joint. It's still a hot album, and, um, the slow jams are, uh, really good [cough]. In sum, these are songs to get you buck, a chance to hear hot beats, some hot guest lyricists, down south flavor, and something different from a lot of popular rap releases. Oh, and I almost forgot: Slayer!! And Bad Brains.
