Lil Jon & East Side Boyz

Kings of Crunk

Great for a party, not if your looking for serious stuff

First off, I have to say that this is easily some of the best club beats I've heard. I don't live in the South, so I'm not biased in that way, but its just fun to listen to if you want to just bang out to some really nice beats and drunken chants, which I personally don't annoying, since they're hilarious (Chappelle's Show, anyone), and they grow on you. Also, its not really "rap"; its club music, which are all the lyrics are about. Lil' Jon is also a great producer, who mixes all kinds of stuff together. Right now, I'm listening to "Throw it Up", and he has some strings in the background (the theme song from "Requiem for a Dream", don't know the name of the song though), and he does a good job of mixing all kinds of Dirty South sounds. All in all, a good album for the club, but again, its not real rap, and its the most shallow crap ever. In fact, if I was rating it as rap, I'd most likely give it a 1, or maybe at most 2. Have fun, and GET CRUNK!
