(8/10)Take "One Step Closer." Add some "My December" and "High Voltage." Mix them together. And now you have Linkin Park.
Although none of these songs are entirly what Linkin Park is aiming for--blending rap, rock with some melody--each song represents one of the bands elements.
"One Step Closer" and "High Voltage" are both good solid tracks. But "My December" is what makes a three-song single worth [$$$].
You could call it pop, but I wouldn't. It's slow, soft, and overflowing with emotion.
If you liked Hybrid Theory at all, buy this. It's worth it.
