This is LP's remix album, a daring stunt as most artists don't put out a remix album until much later into their career. Linkin Park pulled it off though, they brought in other artists to completely re-do the songs. A lot of the songs changed drastically, the metal feel was almost completely erased and replaced with an extreme hip-hop/rap feel. The songs on this album take the songs from Hybrid Theory to another level, from a different point of view. Its an amazing album, the remix version of My December is just as beautiful as the original, which was written for a charity event. 'Reanimation' is an extreme remix and definently something to at least try out. I have a feeling you won't regret purchasing this CD, or any other Linkin Park album.
