Once again, Linkin Park proves why there can be no others like them. They simply work harder, and do better, than others can. They took the only album (before Meteora) to successfully hybridize hip hop and rock and gave it to a talented group of mainstream stars and underground icons, and let them have their way.
That being said, and while I like all the songs, the remix of Crawling at the end, with Aaron Lewis, is the single best produced, best sounding bit of music I have ever heard. It's gorgeous, from its controlled tempo, to slow, slow building, and the restrained power felt throughout.
Put it on with a pair of top-rate headphones, turn the lights off, and get lost in it.
