I am a HUGE Linkin Park fan--half the cloths I wear is Linkin Park merch, I have Linkin Park posters and stickers covering my walls, etc...--but I hate Reanimation. I loved Hybrid Theary and Meteora, I even own unreleased CDs like "EP" and "2.0", which are both great! but Reanimation is terrable--it doesn't even sound like Linkin Park. the whole album is this techno-rap stuff. it's like eifel 65 meats Eminem. ALL the music on there is computer generated, there is practicaly no guitar or drums (although there is a fair amount of turn-table--which I like.) then they have these guests on there--some of them good, some of them bad. Motion Man completely mutilated In The End. but Forgoten is prety good. there are a lot of bad songs, and a few decent ones. but honestly, I fealt [tricked] when I bought that CD. I had come to trust Linkin Park (I am in their fan club, so I've heard quite a lot of their music--doesens of unreleased demoes--and they are all good) then they made THIS! It's like I just wasted my [money] ... I was also very dissapointed. If Linkin Park ever releases another remix album (which they wont--Mike Shinoda said it was a one-time thing) then I won't buy it. the reason I gave the album three stars, is because I understand how much talant and work went into it. they did some truly amaising things on that album. Things that very very few people can do. but I don't like it simply because it's not my style at all. It's not what I know and love Linkin Park for. If you like Eminem and Dr. Dre, you will probably like Reanimation--because it sounds more like them than Linkin Park. but if you like Linkin Park for the rock aspect of it (which I do) then don't waste your time or money.
