Songs For Drella

There's no Michelangelo coming from Pittsburgh

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
Just a few instruments and two voices, and hardly ever singing together. Yet it's a beautiful view on the life of Andy Warhol, seen through the eyes of John Cale and Lou Reed, and that's very important. It's not always a very sweet picture (Hello it's me) but it's not supposed to be. I like the Velvet Underground a lot as well, but this is not a VU album, nor does it remind me of one.
Best songs in my opinion are Smalltown, Trouble with classisists and Forever changed.
