R&B Flavored And Hot

After Erotica, Madonna obviously needed to lower the dosage. She came back with this album. Working with producers like Babyface, the album is very R&B flavored. At first it was a sales disaster until two songs came along. Secret became a huge hit with a funny premise and Take A Bow, her best ballad ever, and also her biggest hit. The album has sales on par with Erotica but deserved better. Human Nature, Survival, Bedtime Story and Don't Stop are the other highlights, and you can see the response to the lambasting of Erotica in some of them.
