Next to her 'I'm Breathless' album, I think it's safe to say 'Ray of Light' is one of the best Madonna albums to show her great ability to branch out into different genres, tackle them with full force and creativity, and come out a winner. The Queen of Pop hits the techno dance floor this time around and takes us on a spiritual, ethereal spin for just over an hour. Excellent song-writing, catchy tunes, sometimes dark and sometimes bursting through like 'ray's of light'... This is a definite must have for any Madonna fan. It ranks among her best and most heart-driven work to date.
