The music flows through your ears like a spirit twirling in the air. Madonna's new album, Ray of Light, is a spectacular new sound in cooperation with a style we all know and have grown to love so much. With her new project, she sets back the other music divas by at least a decade. The album is saturated with pure perfection right down to the smallest high-pitch sound effects. Frozen, the first single released from the album, begins with a symphonic melody that drifts into techno sounds which enhance the variety of the song. Ray Of Light, the title track brings out the best of the material girl's style while springing forward incredible electronica inclusions.

Even with such detail, there have been negative responses to Maddona's somewhat shocking new style. Some critics even say that Madonna's voice does not mix well with the high tech music. And just how spiritual and intellectual are the lyrics of Ray Of Light? Maddona's publicist confirmed that two lines in the song "Sky Fits Heaven" came from an add for GAP. One more company is hammering Maddona for sloppy lyrics. A magnet poetry company claims that Madonna's lyrics for her song "Candy Perfume Girl" may have came from their poetry kit. A spokesperson pointed out that less than 4% of the words in the song can not be found in the poetry kit. Does it really matter where the words came from? At any rate, Maddona's new lyrics prove to be spiritual and thoughtful, many in reference to her new baby girl. The last song on the CD is entitled Little Star. The lyrics read:

God gave a present to me Made of flesh and bones My life, My soul You make my spirit whole Never forget who you are Little star"

Previous Madonna fans should love the funky dance beats and supersensible voice Madonna never fails to deliver. Except for what can be repetitive s sound effects, the expert technological work combined with Madonna's hypnotizing voice and in-depth lyrics, enrapture your senses in what may be the best CD completed for years.
