Tired of the same old fluff ballads by people like Sarah McLaughlin? Check out Madonna's "Something To Remember." Many ballads have surfaced in the mid-late 80's and 90's, but many of them were by artists who are more well known for their voices (Whitney, Mariah, Celine to name a few0 and the songs were down-right sappy. Thankfully Madonna changes that. Even if you're not a ballad lover, "Something To Remember" is for you. Madonna takes the fluff out of ballads. Some like "This Used To Be My Playground" and "Oh Father" will bring you to tears. "Live To Tell" and the "Babyface"-produced "Take A Bow" are also highlights. Want CD full of mellow jams with a lot of meaning? Check out Madonna's "Something To Remember." Makes good background music for parties and people will be surprised it's Madonna. Also check out "Come Away With Me" by Norah Jones.
