"Something To Remember" is a compilation of Madonna's favorite ballads recorded through her career. She expresses a softer side besides what she usually expresses on her upbeat songs. This was crutial being that this was released before motherhood. Some tracks were hits, some were just album tracks, but all are sung from her heart. Madonna recorded three new tracks: "I Want You"(originally recorded by Marvin Gaye), "One More Chance", and the hit single "You'll See". "I Want You", recorded with Massive Attack, offers a taste of her upcoming techno sound. Though a compilation, this gives the audience a taste of her life through the years. Fans of Madonna will love "Something To Remember", important material for all Madonna fans.
