What a surprise!
Everyone expected Madonna to release a new album in 1995, but she comes up with this delicious collection of love songs.
I believe she wanted to show the world that there is more to her shocking attitude.
She's grown up, she's found the meaning of love..and she sings it!
The package is a treat from start to end: THIS USED TO BE MY PLAYGROUND is finally available on a Madonna record, FORBIDDEN LOVE off BEDTIME STORIES was given a thumbs up status by the lady on contrary to what the label did.
LOVE DON'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE is remixed and gets a wider syntheziers momentum.
And then she finally teams up with David Foster!
Unfortunately not with Diane Warren...that's still my # 1 wish.
YOU'LL SEE is TAKE A BOW part II (see video also), ONE MORE CHANCE is acoustic and intimate while I WANT YOU is Madonna once again not being commercial and covering Marvin Gaye - you get two versions of the song (the more electronic one featuring Massive Attack and an orchestral one which is even better!).
Why not 5 stars then? Because if this is a love songs compilation, then there is no way that BAD GIRL should be left out....
