Remembering Madonna?s golden era
Review Score:

(8/10)
This album is a random selection and has for sure an underrated quality compared to Madonna?s greatest first albuns. Released in 1995, it is a mature collection of hybrids, containing mixed songs of Madonna?s golden era.
On this album we can listen to "Rain", a highly listenable song that became an instant classic when the album "Erotica" was released in 1992. "Forbidden Love", a mildly entertaining song, and "Take a Bow", a song that really had a catchy hook, come from her "Bedtime Stories". "Crazy for you", a beautifully done love song, comes from "Immaculate"( 1984 to mid-90`s), the album that contains the most essential hits, including her top singles.
Always changing her shape, Maddona has always been a fable, a myth, and this album,an union of songs originally played in 80?s and early-90?s, had also an unsurprisingly sucess on sales.
Unfortunately, this album can be consider incomplete because it doesn?t contain daring move songs as "Like a Virgin" or signature songs as "Material Girl", that spanned the decade and allowed a real craze of Madonna around the world.
"Music" and "Ray of Light", albums that kept Madonna?s nose to the grindstone(of course more than "Something to Remember", a collection of some old hits), didn?t have the same effect of her previous albums, maybe because they are repetitive and don?t have "Papa don?t preach", "Live to tell" or the magnificent "Like a prayer", songs taht immortalized Madonna.
