Ironically, the title track is one of the more weaker cuts of the album -- seemingly drowned out and droopy. However, many of the unknown strengths of the album include "Forbidden Love", a track that was taken from her "Bedtime Stories" release and "I Want You"; both versions of "I Want You" featured on the album are excellent cuts, giving the listener a great variation of the song.
Of course, there remains her more larger hits like "Take A Bow" and "Live To Tell", which remains her most amazing ballad to date with her incredibly deep voice and harmonic interaction with the music. The two best chosen tracks, however, are those which should belong on the album and were, fortunately, chosen for the album. What I mean is that the tracks would have probably never been considered for a greatest hits album, but fit along this record perfectly. "This Used To Be My Playground", a song written for her movie "A League Of Their Own" and "You'll See", a powerful ballad, are the two best chosen tracks that could be featured. Each has their own personal way of displaying great emotional value with incredible music.
All in all, "Something To Remember" is a beautifully orchestrated ballad collection with songs that do remind us of past times with ones that remind us of those more current. Madonna has created an amazing album with graceful harmony.
