Another one of those good to the last drop type of albums and a greatest hits one at that. I'm glad that Ms. Ciccone didn't just leave us hanging with the Ultamate Collection, I mean it's fine and everything but Something to Remember is perfect. I use to just listen to this when I went to bed but I don't see why I can't listen to this anytime of the day. When Madonna put this album out, she was just getting out of the controversey from SEX and the imfamous stunt on the David Letterman show and then there was Dennis Rodman, whatever. I can see why critics would push her actual music to the side but they shouldn't. I'm glad that Madonna's music has matured to this. This may be another one of favorite Madonna albums next to Ray of Light which Ray of Light this is not. Just a lot of silky smooth ballads. My favorite tracks are Rain, I'll Remember, I want You (with Massive Attack) and Live to Tell. I wish 'Justify My Love' was on here. I looove that song with the radical lyrics. I'd recomment this CD even if you're not that big of a Madonna fan, who cares. You'll get your money's worth.
