Beautiful Songs

When most people think of Madonna, they probably think of dance. But this collection of ballads contains some beautiful songs, and she delivers them beautifully. "Take A Bow" and "Rain" are the two that come to mind. They are incredible. I was glad to see "Something To Remember" included. It is one of her lesser-known ballads from the I'm Breathless album. "Crazy For You" was one of my favorites from the 80's. I love the horns. And I really like "Oh Father", although it's kind of dark. It always reminds me of winter, when there's snow on the ground. But I think the real gem on this collection is "Love Don't Live Here Anymore". I had never heard it before, and she really belts it out. Great track. With Madonna in top form with Ray Of Light, I'm sure there will be more collections like this to come.
